Terms & Conditions

1: Sale and Purchase

1.1 The sale, by us or purchase by you of items is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. Any contract with respect to goods being supplied by us does not come into effect until your order has been accepted and processed. Confirmation of your order from this site does not therefore constitute acceptance of an order.

2: Price

2.1 All prices quoted on this site are in pounds Sterling, and are given inclusive of any UK applicable vat for that item.

2.2 Postage and packing may be charged on some orders, please enquire before placing your order

2.3 Prices are subject to change at any time, and we reserve the right to vary any price at any given time on this site without prior notice.

2.4 Postage & Delivery
Carriage charges are correct for UK mainland only, UK offshore and overseas rates are additional to those calculated and are available on request.

3: Payment

Payment for online, telephone and faxed orders must be made in pounds Sterling only by major credit or debit cards as listed: Visa, Delta, Master Card, Switch, Electron, Solo. We can accept payment by Sterling Cheque by post or Cash at our offices. Mail Order items will be despatched upon clearance of funds and callers to our offices wishing to make purchases must have guaranteed means of payment.

4: Passing of Property

Any product will remain our property until full payment has been made by you, has been received by us, and has been cleared by our bankers.

5: Passing of Risk

The risk in the products will pass to you on delivery, as set out in paragraph 6.3 below.

6: Delivery

6.1 Any date or period for delivery will be considered as indicative only, although it is our policy to try to fulfil all orders within a few days; heavy items might take longer to deliver. We cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers, or any other third party.

6.2 All products are sent by Royal Mail or Courier. Unless we agree otherwise your first order will only be made to the address of the person who is the holder of the credit or debit card used to purchase the products.

6.3 You bear the risk once the products have been signed for/received.

7: Acceptance

You will inspect products within a reasonable time after their receipt and you will be deemed to have accepted the products unless you notify us in accordance with paragraph 8 below that you want to cancel your order or you notify us in accordance with paragraph 9 below that the products are faulty. If no such action is taken, we will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose, and may not accept any rejection or cancellation at a later date. Your statutory customer rights are not affected.

8: Right to Cancel ( Business to Consumer only)

8.1 As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract with us at any time before the expiry of 7 working days from the day after the date of delivery of the products (does not apply to trade orders; Business to Business). You must inform us by email, letter or fax to cancel the contract. Certain items are by their nature not covered by the Distance Selling Regulation, please contact us as soon as possible to check if an item you wish to cancel is covered or not. Where applicable you will receive a full refund including postage within 30 days. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the products until they are returned and have to pay the cost of returning the products to us. Alternatively you may require exchange of goods eg for larger size, upon which there will be no charge except for postage and packing which must be paid prior to dispatch. Any items being returned must be as sold, undamaged and in their original packaging. If the items are to be collected they must be made freely available to any courier to collect and the cost of recovery will be where applicable deducted from any subsequent refund.

8.2 Unless faulty, after 7 working days any exchange or refund will be at our discretion.

9: Faulty Items

Please call or contact us to discuss any faulty products we will then instruct you on how to return if necessary.

10: Returns

Items being returned must be accompanied by a purchase receipt, be in their original packaging and unused unless faulty. Customer returns are processed within two weeks of our receipt and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined above.

11: WEEE recycling

You can now recycle your old electricals with us.

Why recycle?
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

We can help

We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items.

Any unwanted electrical equipment should be notified to us prior to dispatch of the replacement goods and we will make arrangements to pick up and dispose or recycle them in the correct manner on delivery of your order.


To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.


What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
